I'm starting a new art challenge #whimsicalByMamaminia Art challenges are an excellent way to stay motivated. They are great for creating consistently in one style. I fell in love with gouache paintings with a whimsy touch when I discovered Ruth Wilshaw. It's my first attempt at creating an illustration with a whimsical accent

My part in the #Spidersona challenge. This would be me in my universe and my spidersona known as "Night Spider." She is a plus size web comic creator at a small company in Manhattan, NY. She then takes on her vigilante ways as Night Spider. If it wasn't obvious, totally obsessed with the #IntoSpiderverse film.

Did it for an art challenge,never finished it.This are the kind of feelings i have when i see some guys being too nice to my sis.Makes me pretty mad >:C

My nephew Luke and I are having a 14 day art challenge. I made this for him today.

I love hilly landscapes. But I'm not good at drawing them. The one thing that I should do is practice. I have to take a sketchbook and draw/paint 100 mountains. The trees also could be better. I failed by drawing details on this illustration. Day 11 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

I feel only positive emotions after drawing this landscape. It's a bit wintery, snowy, and magical. I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details. Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now. I have already purchased a course on the Domestika platform. I'm going to try my skills at traditional painting on paper. It will be a big challenge. In real it's a meteor shower. But our imagination allows us to create fantastic images. I love stars. I love landscapes. So it's a final illustration of these both with a fine whimsy touch :) Day 5 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

Mommy tree and her daughter. I hope they'll always be close to each other. Pushing yourself to the next level is a great experience. I did it today by drawing this illustration. It's what happened to me: - I created effects I've never done before, - my creativity reached its new highs, - I developed new painting skills, - I'm still feeling amazing. One of my friends gave me a fun art challenge to try using a D20. I got the Invisible Man in the style of Max Fleischer's 'Out of the Inkwell'.

Junicorn - so apparently there's a june art challenge like mermay, its called junicorn...this is my one and only entry, i dont like unicorns nearly as much as mermaids...lol added my sketches for the drawing this time.
